Something funny you shall notice, at least a quarter of this deck consist of cards I am most used to, and I am not talking about the standard staples, Dekoichi, Drillroid, Cyber Dragon, I might as well be running my own deck!
I didn't even think I wanted to go until the day before and had a little left over, and after what happened, I do not regret it, even with my break. What's better, I came 2nd, and managed to grab alot of cards I was after!
My overall impressions of the very idea of the Battle Pack are mostly positive, in GAOV the only thing that mattered was getting the most Hieratic support, but here, if you have good understanding of the game itself you'll pull through. Sure I pulled all the basic staples, but at the same time I had to play smart, and the smartest thing I ever did that day was stick to my own guns. Like I said, most of the monsters I pulled are ones I use often.
Still on Yugi break, but glad I went, shame they didnt have many Pizzas
Also, I am over my blockade, a majority of the script has been written, it needs to be finished, then it needs to be looked over and changed, and then I'm ready to make the first episode!
--Voice Actor of the Week---
Most of what I put here are positive, but this week, I turn to a very mixed subject, something a friend of mine brought up yesterday and for good reason...
Dan Castellaneta

Best known of course as the voice of Homer Simpson, but I know him as Megavolt from Darkwing Duck, and Earthworm Jim from the TV show.
Right, now I do admit this is a bit touchy, but Simpsons is going to have a last season within a year, but is having financial trouble which is requesting that all those who take part will need to cut their salary in half in order to produce it. Yesterday me and my friend were talking about this and he said the actors (not just Dan) were asking $8 million for their roles.
I looked into it, and apparently the actors did agree and compromise to take a pay cut of 30% of what they are usually paid, just over $300,000 per episode (I was wrong about the $700 standard, and so was he about the $8m). Oddly enough, throughout the shows run, the cast were given more to their salary after the threat of a recast, and after that they all asked for more money. Ehether this cut changes the fate of the final season getting made I am unsure. The reason I bring this up is because of the talk I had yesterday, since my friend doesn't like the Simpsons cast for asking too much, and I was in agreement, but then that's why I did my research to get the facts straight and understand the complications.
Voice Acting is a job, and like any other people expect to get paid for their services, and on a show as big as the Simpsons and with the final season on pending, I understand why such a paycut would damage an actor, it's what pays the bills afterall. However, it's when I read about when the actors asked for a payrise that my feelings became mixed, and compared to what they were originally paid in earlier seasons it makes me wonder if that had something to do with the current issue.
The voice actors I most respect, the voice actors that have inspired me, and the voice actors that were responsible for my deep appreciation for voice actors and what they do, are the ones who, although do it mainly as a paid job, also do it for what it's worth, do it because they love it, do it because they have motivation and love for the subject matter and the characters, I could name hundreds that fall under this. Hearing all of this from a show that has lasted as long as it has, with characters that I dare someone say they don't recognise (Peter Griffin I'm looking at you!) I do admit leaves a little poison in me.
This is not to say Dan hates doing Homer, or that I hate Dan and the other Simpsons actors for wanting more money, it's just that what makes voice acting such a great job in the eyes of most people is the ability to voice memorable characters, I'm not saying Dan should voice Homer for free, just that money should not be the only motivation, I just hope that the motivation to voice the character because he is so memorable is there in Dan's mind, and to me that motivation is what I respect in most actors.
And I'm sure when Rocksteady studios decide to do a Darkwing Duck video game they would give Dan some extra work, but out of all the stuff he has done, everyone remembers him as Homer Simpson (and to some extent Robot Devil from Futurama), hence why, forgetting the issues of what the show has gone through, he is still a talent that, like any other actor put on here, deserves the spotlight
